Now for my review!

During the past weeks I have played the album continuously in my car. I even had my father-in-law a retired professor in music, and a pianist listen to the songs while we drove around looking at the Christmas lights in our town. I really wanted to know his opinion on the music that we were listening too, and he had nothing but praise about the album:
"The singer has a beautiful vocal range, and the ability to sing popular children's song in Mandarin. The music itself is cheerful, and upbeat!  This is a perfect addition to anyone's musical library, and a must when exposing children to different languages."
Of course, I've had my child listening to it as well.  This was my 6 yr. old's reaction:
"Mommy, I know that song!" Referring to the popular Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star, and Happy Birthday songs.  For the rest of the songs, "Mommy, I really like them although I don't understand what she's singing."
Now for my personal review:
"Little Mandarin  although 'fun, and upbeat' like my father-in-law described it, It is also a very soothing, and calming album.  My child is a chatter-box! However, when listening to the album he's quiet, and immersed in the music, and vocals of the singer. I would personally recommend this album to anyone wanting to expose their child to another language through music.  We are planning to celebrate the upcoming Chinese New Year with a cultural play date, and I will certainly have this music playing in the background."
